What is the SPARK Quiz?

The SPARK Quiz is a free 24-question compatibility assessment that reveals your dating personality type across four dimensions: Connection Pace, Lifestyle Rhythm, Emotional Processing, and Togetherness Style. It takes about 5 minutes and assigns you one of 16 unique SPARK types.

How does everyone get a match?

Every guest takes the SPARK Quiz before attending. We use your compatibility profile to curate the event guest list — so every person in the room is already compatible with at least one other attendee. Because the matching happens before the event, 100% of guests leave with at least one match. Most receive 2 or 3.

Is the quiz free?

Yes — completely free. There is no charge to take the quiz, receive your SPARK personality type, or get your compatibility insights. Beyond The Sparks events at Cabinboys Brewpub in Tulsa are ticketed separately.

Where are the events held?

All Beyond The Sparks events are hosted at Cabinboys Brewpub, 223 N Main St, Tulsa, OK 74103. It's a warm, community-minded local brewpub — exactly the right atmosphere for genuine connection.

What are the 16 SPARK types?

SPARK types are 4-letter codes built from your quiz results across four dimensions: Connection Pace (F=Flame or E=Ember), Lifestyle Rhythm (A=Anchor or S=Sail), Emotional Processing (H=Heart or M=Mind), and Togetherness Style (W=Weave or V=Wave). Examples: FAHW — The Devoted Romantic, ESMV — The Sovereign Spirit, FSHW — The Adventure Lover.

How long does the quiz take?

About 5 minutes. It includes 20 personality questions and 4 readiness questions — 24 total. When you finish you immediately see your personalized SPARK type, compatibility insights, and conversation starters tailored to your personality.

Do I need to take the quiz before the event?

Yes — your SPARK Profile is how we build the compatibility-matched guest list. Without it, we can't include you in the pre-matching that makes the match guarantee possible. Take the free quiz before registering for your event.

How is this different from speed dating?

Traditional speed dating puts random strangers in a room and hopes chemistry happens. Beyond The Sparks uses the SPARK Quiz to match attendees before the event. You're meeting people already compatible with you on four dimensions of personality. The result: everyone leaves with at least one match.
