4. SMS Messaging Program

Program Description: Upon opting in, you will receive SMS messages delivering your speed dating match results after each event you attend, as well as occasional event announcements for upcoming Beyond The Sparks events in the Tulsa area. Message frequency varies by event schedule and may include multiple messages per week during active event periods.

How to Stop: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text STOP to the number you received messages from. Upon sending STOP, we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

Event operations: Your SPARK profile and compatibility type are shared with the event organizer (Beyond The Sparks staff) to facilitate matching at live events.
Service providers: We use GoHighLevel (a CRM platform) and Supabase (a database) to store and manage contact information. These subcontractors are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use your data for independent marketing purposes.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Event participant data is retained for up to 2 years for matching and follow-up purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at lee@beyondthesparks.com.

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted database storage (Supabase) and secure HTTPS transmission. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
