The Oklahoma dating scene
Oklahoma splits into two very different scenes. Tulsa runs concentrated and creative — the Arts District, Blue Dome, Cherry Street and Brookside — with a wave of Tulsa Remote transplants and young engineers at ONEOK, Williams, Saint Francis and American Airlines' maintenance base. Oklahoma City sprawls wider and skews corporate: Devon and Chesapeake energy money, Tinker Air Force Base, INTEGRIS and OU Health, and nightlife scattered from Bricktown to the Plaza District to the Paseo. Both share the same wall. The metros are car-dependent, so Edmond stays in Edmond and Broken Arrow stays in Broken Arrow; your job, your gym and your friend group recycle the same faces; and the apps have burned nearly everyone out.
